Volunteer Angels Provide Clothing to Indigent Newborns in Need of Warmth and Hope
The Volunteer Angels urge others to donate sewn, knitted or store-purchased items to needy newborns

LAS VEGAS, NV, March 29, 2011, The Volunteer Angels, a volunteer organization that provides clothing for premature through full-term infants in needy households, has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in community outreach.

“We create a safe haven for babies and children through warm clothing,” says Suzanne Fain, owner and volunteer director of the Volunteer Angels. The organization brings comfort to the needy by supplying preemies, newborns and toddlers with knitted or crocheted hats, booties and sweaters, cotton washcloths, afghans and receiving blankets. All donations received, whether handmade or purchased items, are given to families in the Las Vegas region who need them the most.

Currently, the Volunteer Angels are asking members of the community to contribute to this worthy cause by donating the following items:

  • receiving blankets
  • quilts
  • gowns
  • infant caps and booties
  • bibs
  • infant hairbrushes and combs
  • diapers
  • pacifiers
  • baby oils and creams
  • small cloth toys

The Volunteer Angels are committed to working with sewing groups from across the nation and distributing clothing to hospitals in order to provide goods and services for underprivileged children. All donations are greatly appreciated, and can be mailed to the following address:
